I Sent This to 60 Scammers. For Science.
I wanted the scammers to know about us. Not just that HackAware exists — I wanted them to feel it. So I did what any emotionally unstable digital vigilante would do: I wrote them a message. I meant to send a warning. Something serious. But then my broken sense of humor kicked in, and this… thing came out.
I sent it to over 60 scammers across Telegram. One by one. Copy, paste, send. Some of them replied. Some blocked me. Some probably just smiled through their stolen profile pictures. Either way — they read it. And now, you can too.
I call it a love letter.
You’ll see why.
Hey babe 😘
I told myself I’d just watch 🫣
Just peek into your little group 👀
Click a few buttons 🖱️
Maybe take a screenshot or two 📷But then you smiled at me 😌
Through a face you stole from Facebook 🫠

🧠 The Real Story
All jokes aside — this wasn’t just me being dramatic. I went into one of these scams on purpose. The STX Entertainment Telegram job offer was fake from the start. I knew it. But I wanted to feel exactly how they hook people — what they say, what they pay, how they turn one innocent tap into a trail of top-ups, tasks, threats, and tears.
And they’re good. They paid me once. They acted like friends. The whole group felt “real.” That’s how they do it — warmth first, wallet second. And people are still falling for it, because it doesn’t look like a scam.
That’s why I wrote this. That’s why I sent it. That’s why this website exists.
If this happened to you — or almost did — don’t be embarrassed. You’re not stupid. You’re not soft. You’re just human. And scammers know how to exploit that.
If you’ve got a story, tell me:
📩 report.hackaware.org
I’ll read it. I’ll investigate it. And maybe I’ll write another love letter in your honor.
